Trading Operation Report
What is the Trading Operation Report?
The Trading Operation Report is published by ELEXON each month to meet the schedule
of standing Panel meetings as shown on the ELEXON website. This report provides
detailed analyses of market data and gives an indication of the performance of the
Trading Arrangements.
The report is divided into four sections as follows:
Section one (Overview) provides a short statement on any key events, issues
or incidents which have occurred over the last month.
Section two (Headline Statistics) provides data on a key range of metrics,
such as the number of Energy Contract Volume Notifications submitted; Credit Default
incidents; Indebtedness exposure and generation by fuel type.
Section three (CVA Market Graphs) provides detailed analysis of Central Volume
Allocation market data that is expected to fall under the auspices of the Imbalance
Settlement Group (ISG). This includes pricing data and imbalance volumes.
Section four provides detailed analysis of Supplier Volume Allocation data
that is expected to fall under the auspices of the Supplier Volume Allocation Group
(SVG). This includes annual demand ratios; average GSP group correction factors
and GSP group take.
