Software Technical Advisory Group (STAG)
The STAG is an industry expert group providing an opportunity to discuss issues
and exchange ideas between ELEXON and industry participants. It is open to all Non
Half Hourly Data Aggregators and Collectors (NHHDAs and NHHDCs) and approximately
twenty representatives attend each meeting.
The STAG provides these Agents with an outlet where the operation, maintenance and
development of the ELEXON developed software applications can be discussed and recommendations
for change made. It is not a BSC obligation or a Committee of the BSC Panel: rather
it is a value added service to keep Party Agents informed on BSC Panel decisions,
the Change Management Process and operational market performance.
Where STAG business requires a formal decision from the BSC governance structures, the information will be presented to either the Imbalance Settlement Group (ISG) or Supplier Volume Allocation Group (SVG) for guidance and direction.
The STAG is held every six weeks on Thursdays at ELEXON’s offices from 10.30am - 2pm.
It is chaired by James Priestley, one of ELEXON’s Operational Services Analysts.
All NHHDAs and NHHDCs can join STAG. If you would like to attend a STAG meeting
