ELEXON and National Grid are pleased to be launching a regular cross-codes electricity
forum. We will hold sessions at ELEXON’s offices
in London every other month, starting in March 2010.
Get the dates for all our sessions during 2010.
Sessions will begin at 10am and finish around 2:30pm. Meeting agendas
will be published before the meeting.
Each session is divided into two parts:
An education session in the morning
You can learn about the processes for changing the BSC, the Connection and Use of
System Code (CUSC) and (where relevant) the Grid Code. You can also get an overview
of the current changes being proposed under these codes, and learn how to find out
more and get involved. You can also ask us and National Grid any change-related
questions!
An informal ‘break-out’ discussion forum in the afternoon
You can talk to us, National Grid and other attendees about issues/ideas which are
not currently part of any formal change process, and get advice on how you can take
these forward.
We’ll keep each session as informal as possible, although to give some structure
we invite you to table any areas for the afternoon discussion forum in advance.
You will receive an email shortly after registering your attendance, asking for
your comments and suggestions.
If you would like to attend, please complete the online registration form. We also
offer a ‘webinar’ facility for a limited number of people who are unable to attend
in person but would like to participate remotely. The webinar is a combination of
an audio presentation and an online ‘real-time’ slide show with an option to submit
questions. If you would like to use the webinar facility, please still complete
the above online registration form but also email modifications@elexon.co.uk to
ask for webinar details. As it’s the first time we’ve run an industry webinar, please
let us know by Friday 12 March if you wish to participate. That way we can make
sure everything runs smoothly on the day.
