Summary

It was agreed at SVG 72 to set up an Expert Group to review the PrA TPDs acceptance process that is defined in BSCP509. The Group met on the 18 April 2007 to identify the defects in the current process and define a new process going forward. The Group had representation from National Grid, Centrica, Scottish and Southern Energy and E. ON UK as well as from Elexon and the PrA. Additionally, the Group discussed contingency actions that could be implemented if the TPDs were deemed to be unsuitable for use in Settlement. The new process defined by the Group was put to the SVG in paper SVG76/07. The new process was agreed by the SVG and the SVG directed Elexon to raise a Change Proposal to BSCP509 to reflect the new process.
