Summary
Previously it had been thought that the Annual Fraction of Yearly Consumption (AFYC) recalculation was being carried out incorrectly. It has since been established that the calculation is correct but there is an error in Volume 1 of the ISRA Technical Specification which is in conflict with Volume 4 where the process is described correctly. CP1227 seeks to amend the Volume 1 description to bring it in line with Volume 4, in order to prevent further misinterpretation as a result of the inconsistency between Volume 1 and Volume 4.
Progression
CP1227 was raised from DCP0013. CP1227 was raised on 11 January 2008. CP1227 was issued for Industry Impact Assessment as part of CPC00625. CP1227 was presented to the SVG on 04 March 2008 for a decision on progression. The SVG approved CP1227 for inclusion in the June 2008 Release. CP1227 was implemented on 26 June 2008 as part of the June 2008 BSC systems Release.
