Summary

The National Measurement Transformer Error Statement (NMTES) is a list of generic accuracy errors for some types of Metering Equipment used in Settlement. The Technical Assurance Agent (TAA) uses this information when site visits are made to assess compliance with a Code of Practice (CoP) where individual test results are not available. The items currently listed are not representative of all of the equipment in use and the mechanism for amending the list is not practical. CP1250 proposes that BSCP515 section 3. 10. 1. 1 should be change as follows: ‘Submit a minimum sample of 50 CT or 10 VT errors obtained from test records. ‘
