Summary
Elexon held two working groups to consider clarification of the use of Gross Volume Correction (GVC) and guidance (GVC Guidance) on the retrospective correction of errors. The group recommended that clarifications should be made, both in terms of when the Change of Supplier (CoS) reading could be replaced and the method used to agree and carry out the replacement. CP1320 proposes to add clarity to BSCP504 to the effect that a CoS reading can be disputed no later than 12 months after the Supply Start Date (SSD).
