Summary
Currently, BSC Settlement arrangements do not support the energy calculation for new products that are emerging for dimming/switching of street lamps. These products can facilitate reductions in energy consumption and carbon savings for Unmetered Supplies (UMS). We have raised CP1341 from DCP0046 to progress the majority industry view on the best solution for accommodating these products in Settlement. The CP impacts UMS Operators, Meter Administrators, Elexon and UMS customers who wish to use these products.

CP1341 was raised on 3 September 2010. CP1341 was issued for Industry Impact Assessment as part of CPC00687. This CP was approved by the SVG.
CP1341 was implemented on 30 June 2011, as part of the June 2011 Release.
