Change Proposals
A Change Proposal (CP) is a proposal to amend a Code Subsidiary Document, a Configurable Item or an associated product. CPs must have a single, fully defined solution and associated redlined text for all Category 1 Configurable Items.
Category 1 Configurable Items include:
- Balancing and Settlement Code Procedures;
- Party Service Lines;
- Codes of Practice;
- Business Definition Documents (encompassing Data catalogues, the Reporting Catalogue and the Communications Requirements Document);
- Interface Design Documents; and
- Descriptions of physical interfaces in Settlement Software Documents.
To submit a CP a Party should fill in
Change Proposal – BSCP40/02 Form(410Kb)
and send it to ELEXON ccc@elexon.co.uk along with the associated redlined Category 1 Configurable Items.
Change Proposals can be submitted by any BSC Party, any BSC Agent, the BSC Panel or its Committees and ELEXON.
The Change Planning team at ELEXON maintains a list of individuals within the above organisations who have been nominated to submit Change Proposals. All Change Proposals should be submitted by those individuals.
Note that Party Agents are not authorised to submit Change Proposals. If they wish to propose a change to the Trading Arrangements, they should do so via their Party organisation.
