February 2009 Release
Release Manager
Yvonne Walsh is the Release Manager for the February 2009 Release of BSC Systems
(the ‘February 09 Release’). She can be contacted via

Scope
The scope of the February 09 Release has now been finalised. The Release includes
1 approved Modification and 12 Change Proposals. The Release impacts the NHHDA system,
NHHDA documentation, SVA applications and documentation and CVA documentation.
Modifications
Modification P222 (part) is currently approved for inclusion in the February 09
Release. P222 was approved with an implementation date of 25 June 2009 but the NHHDA
software and documentation elements will be implemented as part of the February
09 Release to give all NHHDAs sufficient time to test their systems prior to implementation
in June 09. All the remaining elements of P222 will be implemented on 25 June 2009.

Change Proposals
Change Proposals CP1205, CP1206 and CP1207 are currently approved for inclusion
in the February 09 Release. CP1255 will be presented for approval at the next ISG
meeting.

Implementation Date
All documents, processes and systems amended for the February 09 Release will be
implemented on 26 February 2009.
Business Requirements Solutions
The Business Requirements Solutions (BRS) detail the requirements and solutions
to be implemented for changes within the scope of the February 09 Release. A BRS
document will not be produced for CPs which do not impact software systems and where
redlined changes have been approved in advance.

Impact Matrix
The Impact Matrix lists all Code Subsidiary Documents and Configurable Items which
are impacted by the Release and all CPs and Modifications in the Release and shows
which CP(s) and Modifications impact them.
Interface Impact Matrix
The Interface Impact Matrix lists all interfaces with BSC Parties and / or Party
Agents which are amended, removed or introduced for the Release, and describes how
the interfaces are impacted. P222 introduces a new dataflow between the NHHDA and
the LDSO. As this obligation does not become effective until 25 June 2009 the June
09 Release webpage will contain details of the flow.
Test Strategy
The February 09 Release Test Strategy defines the testing to be undertaken for the
changes included in the February 09 Release. The test strategy will be available
to download shortly.
