Department Functions
Change Delivery
Chris Rowell,
Head of Change Delivery, ELEXON Limited
The Change Delivery Department is responsible for managing and delivering changes
to the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC), BSC Subsidiary documents and supporting
systems and services. Activities undertaken by the department include the analysis
of proposed changes (including Modifications), the identification of business solutions,
the development of technical solutions, the co-ordination of changes, and the implementation
of agreed changes.
Corporate Services
The Corporate Services Department is responsible for the management of a number
of corporate functions including IT, Facilities, Finance and an independent
assurance function in support of the BSC arrangements and ELEXON systems.

This department also oversees commercial procurement arrangements, developing strategies,
managing procurement projects and ensuring that best commercial practice is adhered
to throughout the company.
Human Resources
Helen Skepper, Head of Human Resources, ELEXON Limited
The Human Resources Department has responsibility for recruitment, pay, performance
and reward along with training and development requirements.
Legal
Claire Williams, Head of Legal, General Counsel and Company Secretary, ELEXON Limited
The Legal Department is responsible for the provision of legal advice to the BSC
Panel, the ELEXON Board and staff on general legal and commercial matters and in
interpreting the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC).
Service Delivery
Peter Davies,

The Service Delivery Department manages the delivery of all operational services
that are specified within the BSC. The role of the department includes the provision
of services that are required to support the operation of the Balancing and Settlement
mechanisms, including support to market participants.
Stakeholder Assurance
Dorcas Batstone,
Head of Stakeholder Assurance, ELEXON Limited
The Stakeholder Assurance Department is responsible for the management of a number
of key interfaces with ELEXON’s internal and external stakeholders to ensure
that ELEXON operates in accordance with its obligations, communicates with clarity
and simplicity and provides assurance to stakeholders in the identification of areas
of non-compliance with the BSC arrangements.
