Glossary Term: Chief Executive
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) oversees the corporate strategy and direction of the company, accountable to the Board for the successful delivery and development of the services Elexon delivers.
The CEO leads the Elexon Executive Team who are responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. Elexon manages a number of services including the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC), the Electricity Market Reform (EMR) Settlement Services, the Capacity Market Advisory Group (CMAG) and implementation of the Market Wide Half Hourly Settlement programme on behalf of Ofgem.
