Glossary Term: Energisation

The movement of any isolator, breaker or switch or the insertion of any fuse, so as to enable electricity to flow.

BSC defined definition

In relation to any Boundary Point or Systems Connection Point (or any Plant or Apparatus connected to any System at such a point), the movement of any isolator, breaker or switch or the insertion of any fuse, so as to enable electricity to flow, at such point to and from a System; and “energise” and “energised”, shall be construed accordingly.
