Glossary Term: Maximum Delivery Volume

Acronym: MDV

Maximum Delivery Volume (MDV) is the maximum number of MWhr that a particular BM Unit may deliver within the Maximum Delivery Period.

BSC defined definition

Maximum Delivery Volume, expressed in MWh, being the maximum number of MWhr of Offer (or Bid if MDV is negative) that a particular BM Unit may deliver within the associated Maximum Delivery Period. Also set of data supplied by the System Operator for publication on the BMRS, comprising for each BM Unit the effective time and the Maximum Delivery Volume.
