The transfer of responsibility resulting from the appointment of a Replacement Supplier shall be deemed to take effect, for the purposes of The Code: (a) in the case of a Supplier of Last Resort, from 00.00 hours on the Appointment Day; (b) in the case of a Transferee, from the time and date specified in the relevant notice (such time and date being referred to in The Code as the “Replacement Supplier Transfer Date”); has the meaning given to that term in Section K.7.1.4;
