BSC Panel Election 2012
Election Process
The BSC Panel Election process is described in Annex B-2 of the BSC.
We published guidance relating to the election in May 2012.
We wrote to Trading Parties to confirm contact details for the election in June 2012.
In July 2012 we sought nominations for candidates to stand in the election. Any Trading Party that was a Trading Party on 20 June 2012 could nominate a candidate. Trading Parties had three weeks to submit nominations. The closing date for nominations was 23 July 2012.
We received five nominations for candidates to stand for election as BSC Industry Panel Members. As there were only five nominated candidates for the five posts the candidates were deemed to have been elected as BSC Industry Panel Members.
In accordance with the BSC, no further steps in the Panel Election process will take place.
