Licensed Distribution System Operator (LDSO)
To become an LDSO the following processes must be undertaken:
To operate as a LDSO, registration must be co-ordinated in the Central Registration
System (CRS) via BSCP65 and in Market Domain Data (MDD) via BSCP509. It is also
necessary to contact Gemserv to ensure all requirements for Market Entry are addressed
and to contact Ofgem regarding Distribution Licence arrangements.
In addition, as an LDSO you are required to provide a Supplier Meter Registration
Service (SMRS). Details on this are available from the
