Trading Party - Supplier
The following pages have been designed to help a potential Supplier, enter the electricity
market. For a description of a Trading Party - Supplier please refer to the
BSC Signatories and Qualified Persons section of the site.
Detailed descriptions of these processes have been outlined in the
Simple Guide to Market Entry(104Kb)
which is recommended reading prior to starting any of the Market Entry processes.
Registration in the Central Registration Service (CRS) as a Supplier must be co-ordinated
with registration in Market Domain Data (MDD) via BSCP509. It is also necessary
to ensure that the registration of BM Units is completed prior to the Supplier role
becoming effective on CRS.
As a Trading Party, Suppliers will also be required to ensure that they submit a
Funds Accession Form (FAF) (BSCP301/01(a)) to the Funds Administration Agent (FAA)
at least 10 working days prior to becoming a Trading Party.
Suppliers are also advised to contact Gemserv to ensure all Master Registration
Agreement (MRA) market entry requirements are addressed.
