CVA Qualification Testing Dataflow Group Requirements
These process diagrams should be used by BSC Parties and BSC Party Agents to determine which test scripts they will execute for their Party role/s.
Diagram 1 - Party Test Scripts
Diagram 1 demonstrates the following scenarios:
A Party that is an LDSO has the option to execute all or some of the following test scripts: DSO Data flows, SMRA Data flows, Registration Data flows, Trading Data flows & BMRA Data flows. If the LDSO has any BM Units they can also test BMU related Data Flows and if those BM Units have associated meters then Metering Data Flows could also be tested.
A Party that is a Trading Party has the option to execute all or some of the following test scripts: Registration Data flows, Trading Data flows, & BMRA Data Flows, If the Trading Party has any BM Units they could also test BMU related Data Flows and if those BM Units have associated meters then Metering Data Flows could also be tested.
A Party that is an Interconnector Administrator has the option to execute all or some of the following test scripts: Metering Data flows, Registration Data flows, Trading Data flows and BMRA Data flows.
Diagram 2 - Party Agent Test Scripts
Diagram 2 demonstrates the following scenarios:
A Party Agent that wishes to qualify in the role of an ECVNA would be required to
execute all ECVNA Data flows.
A Party Agent that wishes to qualify in the role of MVRNA would be required to execute all MVRNA Data flows.
A Party Agent that wishes to qualify in the role of an MOA has the option to execute all or some of the MOA Data Flows.
Role to Test Script Cross Reference
The following tables should be used in conjunction with the above diagram to determine
which test scripts a participant will be required to execute.
The table above does not include the BMRA group, as testing concerning this group
does not follow a script and is undertaken by the participant without the involvement
of Logica or ELEXON. The BMRA tests are required to be undertaken whenever the
Registration and Trading groups are required.
