BSC Audit Issue Documents
The Audit Issue resolution process ties in with ELEXON’s Error and Failure Resolution
(EFR) Process and the PAB Escalation Cycle.
All BSC Audit Issue Documents are given an ‘Impact Rating’ of higher, medium or
lower. Depending on the level of risk, a Problem Pro-forma may be requested and
the Issue will enter the EFR Process for monitoring and resolving. Rectification plans
will be tracked and monitored but Audit Issue Documents can only be closed when the BSC Auditor is satisfied
that all requirements have been met and any non compliances rectified. Please refer

Impact Ratings are assigned by the BSC Auditor. The methodology that the Auditor
uses to assign Impact Ratings was agreed by the PAB in May 2005.

The severity of the issues determines the resolution activity required and dictates
if a Problem Pro-forma is needed. Pro-formas must be produced within agreed timescales
and baselined to measure future performance as agreed between ELEXON and the BSC
Party or Party Agent.
