Market Guidance
This section identifies a number of services to assist BSC
Parties participating in the electricity market in Great
Britain.
ELEXON operates a Performance Assurance Framework (PAF) that
consists of a complementary set of preventative, detective and
corrective techniques designed to mitigate against risks to the
BSC arrangements. For information on the PAF refer to the link
available from the menu to the left of the page.
The Operational Support Management (OSM) Service is a
function that facilitates direct communication between BSC
Signatories, Qualified Persons and ELEXON.

identify which OSM has been assigned to a particular BSC Party
or Party Agent.
