Professor Richard Brealey

Richard is Emeritus Professor of Finance at the London Business School. He was a full-time member of the London Business School faculty from 1968 to 1998 and served as Professor of Finance, Director of the Institute of Finance and Accounting, Deputy Principal and Governor. From 1998 until 2001 he served as Special Adviser to the Governor of the Bank of England. Richard is a Fellow of the British Academy, a past Director of the American Finance Association and past President of the European Finance Association. Richard has also been a Director of Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada UK Holdings plc, Tokai Derivative Products and The Swiss Helvetia Fund.
