BSC Audit Hold Harmless Letters

In accordance with the BSC Audit Services contract, Qualified Supplier Agents (who are not Parties to the BSC) and auditors to BSC Parties are required to sign a Hold Harmless Letter before receiving BSC Audit documentation.

These letters cover the entire Audit Services contract duration (to September 2012) and will enable participants to receive future Audit Issue Documents and attend presentations given by the BSC Auditor. PricewaterhouseCoopers (the BSC Auditor) sends the Hold Harmless letter which must be signed by a director of the company it applies to.

A specimen Hold Harmless letter is available, and the following information must be provided depending on whether you are a Qualified Agent or An external Auditor of a Trading Party:

A Qualified Agent

  • Legal Company Name
  • Agency Name (if different)
  • Market Role (e.g., SMRS / NHHDC, etc)
  • Agency MPID(s)
  • Key contact name
  • Key contact job description
  • Key contact address
  • Key contact telephone number
  • Key contact email address
  • Name of Director signing the letter

An external Auditor of a Trading Party

  • Name of the External Audit firm
