Elexon and EMR Settlement Ltd
The EMR Settlement Ltd (EMRS) is a subsidiary of Elexon Ltd and was set up in March 2014. It is the settlement services provider on behalf of the Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) in relation to Contracts for Difference (CFD) and on behalf of the Electricity Settlements Company in relation to the Capacity Market (CM).

EMR Settlement Limited (EMRS) was incorporated on 5 March 2014 and became a 100% subsidiary of the Elexon Group on 4 April 2014.

Elexon’s role
Elexon Limited has granted a licence to EMR Settlement Limited to use certain BSCCo data for CFD and CM settlement purposes. BSC Section V 5.2.7 and V 5.3.2 require a schedule of CFD and CM Settlement Data to be published on the Elexon website.
EMR Settlement Data
EMRS uses certain Elexon data to deliver its CFD and CM functions. The data used is specified in this document and is required by EMRS to discharge its EMR obligations.
The schedule of data matches the Licenced Data specified in the licence between Elexon and EMRS.
