In accordance with Section Q7 of the Balancing & Settlement Code (BSC), the National Electricity Transmission System Operator (NETSO) has raised two Manifest Error claims. The claims relate to Settlement Period 41 of Settlement 4 February 2024.

On 20 February 2024 the Trading Disputes Committee (TDC) heard the claims and determined, in accordance with Q 7.1.1 of the BSC, that Manifest Errors had occurred.

The Future System Operator (FSO) will be established in 2024 and will be called the National Energy System Operator (NESO). As a result, Elexon will move away from being under National Grid ESO ownership and in future will operate under a ‘federated model’ ownership arrangement. An update on CP1589 ‘Change the number of characters used to specify Market Participant Role Codes in MDD’

CP1589 ‘Change the number of characters used to specify Market Participant Role Codes in the Market Domain Data’ will now go for decision following the Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) decision for Change Request (CR) CR041 ‘Change the format of Market Participant Role Code from Char(1) to Char(2)’.

CR041 was issued for impact assessment on 10 January 2024 and will close on 24 January 2024.
