Holiday CALF values (Winter 2020 BSC Season) deadline: 17 November 2020
Suppliers who experience reduced demand during Christmas and New Year Easter can request a reduced Credit Assessment Load Factor (CALF) value for the period.

The Holiday CALF deadline for the Winter 2020 BSC Season is Tuesday 17 November, 10 working days before the start of the season.
To apply:
- request a copy of the Holiday CALF proforma from the BSC Service Desk.
- Submit the completed proforma back by Tuesday 17 November to the BSC Service Desk.
CALF Values
The CALF values for 1 December 2020 – 28 February 2021 are now available from the Credit/Credit Alerting section under the Financial and Credit menu on the Elexon Portal.
We previously noted that Lead Parties of a BM Unit could appeal an assigned CALF for the Winter 2020 BSC Season if it is believed that it does not accurately represent your expected activity. However, the deadline was 1 November.

Each Primary BM Unit is given a CALF value for each Season. These are calculated based on the Primary BM Unit’s performance in the previous equivalent Season
