New BSC Code of Practice (CoP11) sets standards for accuracy of Asset Metering Systems
A new ‘Code of Practice (CoP11) for the Metering of Balancing Services Assets for Settlement Purposes’ has been introduced, defining the minimum BSC requirements for Asset Metering Systems.
CoP11 outlines the minimum accuracy and functional requirements for an asset meter to be compliant and assures the data used in settlement is of an appropriate standard. The code was developed under modification P375 ‘Settlement of Secondary BM Units using metering behind the site Boundary Point’.
This Code of Practice is only applicable to the Metering Equipment located at an Asset providing a Balancing Service, and comprised within a Secondary BM Unit (BMU) which is located behind a Boundary Point Metering System.
