P479 Call for Workgroup members
P479 ‘Amendments to the Credit Cover calculations to utilise data available closer to real time’ seeks to amend the Credit Cover calculations to make more accurate and operationally efficient estimates of Energy Indebtedness, using data available closer to real time.
Currently, Credit Cover estimates for the first five working days rely on approximations rather than actual Trading Charges, which can be imprecise and require complex rules. Improving these estimations will help BSC Parties better align their Credit Cover with outstanding Trading Charges, reducing both operational costs and the administrative burden of managing inaccuracies.
We are calling for Voting Members to join the P479 Assessment Procedure. The first Workgroup meeting will be held online on 14 November 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 hrs.
