BSC Procedures (BSCPs)
BSCPs define the relationships, timescales and interactions between participants and specify the information or other outputs to be exchanged between them.
BSCP forms contact details web page will give you information for all Agent/Administrator contact details for which you should send BSCP forms.
The latest conformed versions of BSCPs awaiting implementation are available on the Changes Awaiting Implementation page.
BSCP 516 - Allocation of Profile Classes and SSC's for Non Half Hourly SVA Metering Systems Registered in SMRS
This Procedure defines the process of allocating Profile Classes and Standard Settlement Configurations (SSCs) to all Non-Half Hourly (NHH) Metering Systems registered in the Supplier Meter Registration Service (SMRS). The processes defined within this BSC Procedure are to be used from the GSP Group implementation date for each Supplier.
BSCP 520 - Unmetered Supplies Registered in SMRS
BSCP520 sets out the requirements for UMS registered in Supplier Meter Registration Service (SMRS). Metering data for Settlement purposes shall be derived utilising either: an Equivalent Meter (EM) providing Half Hourly (HH) data; or an Estimated Annual Consumption (EAC) per Metering System Identifier (MSID) with an appropriate Profile Class and Standard Settlement Configuration (SSC)
BSCP 533 - PARMS Data Provision, Reporting and Publication of Peer Comparison Data
This BSCP covers the provision of Output Data and Market Indicator Data to the Performance Assurance Reporting and Monitoring System (PARMS) or the Performance Assurance Administrator (PAA). The data will be utilised within the PARMS techniques.
The procedure also covers the following techniques that are associated with the PARMS Service: Monitoring and Reporting; Peer Comparison (public and non-public)
BSCP 533 - Appendix A: PARMS Data Provider File Formats
BSCP533 Appendix A relates to the PARMS Data Provider File Formats and is part of BSCP533 which deals with PARMS Data Provision, Reporting and Publication of Peer Comparison Data.
BSCP533 covers the provision of Output Data and Market Indicator Data to the Performance Assurance Reporting and Monitoring System (PARMS) or the Performance Assurance Administrator (PAA). The data will be utilised within the PARMS techniques.
BSCP 533 - Appendix B: PARMS Calculation Guidelines
BSCP533 Appendix B relates to the PARMS Calculation Guidelines and is part of BSCP533 which deals with PARMS Data Provision, Reporting and Publication of Peer Comparison Data.
BSCP 535 - Technical Assurance
This BSC Procedure defines the process for providing assurance that Performance Assurance Parties (PAPs) are meeting their obligations as stated within the BSC or Code Subsidiary Documents as appropriate. It describes the key interfaces and timetable responsibilities for the role of the Performance Assurance Board (PAB) and/or Delegated Authority and other interested parties in the Technical Assurance of PAPs (TAP). The PAB may delegate such functions as it sees fit in accordance with the PAB Terms of Reference.
BSCP 536 - Supplier Charges
This BSCP defines the process of applying Supplier Charges to Suppliers operating under Supplier Volume Allocation. It describes the key interfaces and timetable responsibilities for Suppliers, SVAA, PARMS, the Performance Assurance Administrator (PAA) and BSC Finance.
BSCP 537 - Qualification Process for SVA Parties, SVA Party Agents and CVA Meter Operators
The purpose of BSCP537 is to set out the process that Applicants must follow so that they can be Qualified under the Balancing and Settlement Code. Qualification ensures that all those participants who are required to be Qualified have developed their systems and processes to accepted industry standards and are able to fulfil the requirements of the Code. It also defines the roles and responsibilities of the main users. In addition it specifies various processes associated with Qualification including the Removal of Qualification and Re-Qualification processes.
BSCP 538 - Error and Failure Resolution
The purpose of this BSCP is to set out the process that Performance Assurance Parties (PAPs) and BSCCo shall follow when an error and/or failure occurs where a PAP’s Risk Management Plan states that the Error/Failure should be addressed through the Error and Failure Resolution (EFR) process.
BSCP 550 - Shared SVA Meter Arrangement of Half Hourly Import and Export Active Energy
BSCP550 defines the additional processes and responsibilities involved where two or more Suppliers receive Active Energy through the same Shared SVA Metering System, referred to as Shared SVA Meter Arrangement. This data shall be supplied to meet either the: Initial Volume Allocation Run timescales or the Final Reconciliation Volume Allocation Run timescales
