Summary

As a result of a defect identified during NETA Pre-Production Running an emergency fix will be applied later today to the Logging software. The defect affected Market Indicator Reports P0046001 and P0049001, as
supplied to the PARMS team at Elexon, and concerned the processing of null
values in the BM Unit ID field of record type SPC, file type L022. The
software skipped to the next field and treated that as the BM Unit ID,
rather than accepting a null value. There has been no impact to any live
reports.

The software has been amended by the SVA Agent and tested and Elexon have
confirmed that the repeated PPR results have corrected the problem.

This patch will take the Logging Application from V1. 91 to V1. 92 and be
implemented before this afternoon’s weekly Market Indicator Reports are
processed.
