CP0543 – BMRA Browser Support

Summary

This CP supersedes NCR286. Test the BMRA service against later versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) and Netscape. Implement any necessary changes to enable the service to work against these browser versions. Update the BMRA help text to reflect the support for these versions. The BMRA service is available over the public internet and it is not possible to place undue restrictions on the browsers to be supported for members of the public. The only currently supported browser for the BMRA is Internet Explorer Version 4. The latest available version is 5. 5 and participants may not be able to legitimately source new copies of version 4.
Many participants may have corporate standards mandating the use of up-to-date versions of web browsers and BMRA is required to function and be supported in these environments.
