Summary

This CP supersedes NCR 359
NTCC Ref 620 of the PST Reg script refers to Elexon sending notification of the Supplier Id and associated Base BM Unit Ids to CRA on notification of a New Supplier, supported by BSCP15 3. 3. 1. However, the actual process, as defined in CRA-F001 / CRA-F013 and BSC Section K 3. 3. 1 all support the operational process whereby the Base BMUs are generated automatically on registration of a Party as a Supplier, with the BMU Ids being allocated according to a defined and ‘known’ algorithm. The notification of Supplier registration/information from Elexon and CRA is covered by BSCP65 3. 1. 6 and 3. 1. 11 and, as such, appear to be notifications distinct from the action defined by BSCP15 3. 3. 1. The BSCP is, therefore, inconsistent with other industry documentation and with the operational process.
