Summary

At Go Live it was recognised that PCSec seemed to have a ‘memory leakage’ problem. This defect caused significant problems when PCSec was used with a sub-second polling interval as originally specified. A work around was therefore agreed to increase the polling interval to 10 seconds in order to deliver a useable version of PCSec for Go Live.
It is understood by Elexon that a technical solution to this defect has been found by Logica. Consequently, it is proposed that the polling interval is set to the original sub-second interval to reduce the risk that files miss Gate Closure due to the slow polling of outbound files.
