Summary

PSL160 ‘Supplier Meter Registration Service’ requires the Supplier Meter Registration Agent (SMRA) to provide an SMRS between the hours of 09: 00 and 18: 00. BSCP501 ”Supplier Meter Registration Service’ is not explicit on when the SMRS should be provided however it defines a Working Day as ”means the period from 09: 00 to 18: 00 (both inclusive on any Business Day’. MRA CP105 ‘Provision of access to Metering Point Information’ (attached) has been raised by British Gas Trading. One of the proposed changes impacts Priority Provision paragraph 13. 1. The proposed change to paragraph 13. 1 would result in the SMRS being available between 09: 00 and 17: 00 rather than 09: 00 and 18: 00. This CP therefore proposes that the intent of the change proposed to paragraph 13. 1 of the Priority Provisions of the MRA is reflected within PSL160 and hence that the SMRS is provided between 09: 00 and 17: 00.
