Summary
SIR2833. There is an absence of consistency in the processes used for recording New Connections. It is necessary to improve the co-ordination and timeliness of these procedures with respect to the allocation of SSCs, actual meter installation dates and the setting of Supply Start Dates particularly where actual meter installation postdates SSD. The lack of consistency has resulted in Market Participants determining their own processes to deal with the situation when the Non Half Hourly Meter Operator (NHH MO) installs metering equipment after the Supply Start Date (SSD). This has resulted in inconsistent procedures being used across the market.
