Summary
Within BSCP514 ‘SVA Meter Operations for Metering Systems registered in SMRS’ are two procedures for change of Meter Operator Agent (MOA) without a change of Supplier. Both procedures assume that no change of the Metering System occurs once the de-appointment notice has been issued. The originator believes that there are some cases where the Metering System can be changed by the old MOA between the de-appointment notice and the new MOA becoming responsible for the Metering. CP1162 proposes that following the sending of Meter Technical Details (MTDs) in response to a D0170 ‘Request for Metering System Related Details’ flow the old MOA should be responsible for sending any revised Meter Technical Details to the new MOA until the change of MOA has been completed.

CP1162 was raised on 10 April 2006. CP1162 was issued for Industry Impact Assessment as part of CPC00570. It was approved for inclusion in the next suitable release by the Supplier Volume Allocation Group.
