Summary
Following a review of BSCP601 ‘Metering Protocol Approval and Compliance Testing’ and the processes surrounding it. Elexon identified four areas surrounding Metering protocol and compliance testing for amendment. These issues were presented to the Imbalance Settlement Group (ISG) on 25 July 2006 and the Supplier Volume Allocation Group (SVG) on 1 August 2006 who agreed that CP1174 should be raised.

CP1174 was raised on 04 August 2006. CP1174 was issued for Industry Impact Assessment as part of CPC00583. CP1174 was updated to version 2. 0 to address the comments raised by respondents to CPC00583 and provide further clarity on the proposed change. CP1174 v2. 0 was issued for Industry Impact Assessment as part of CPC00593. It was approved for inclusion in the June 2007 Release by the Imbalance Settlement Group on 23 January 2007 and by the Supplier Volume Allocation Group on the 30 January 2007.
