Summary

A review of PARMS Serials was approved by the Performance Assurance Board (PAB) in September 2008 and was carried out by a group comprising of Elexon staff and industry experts. The review group determined that a number of Serials (14 in total) no longer provide meaningful metric data for Settlement Risks. It is the group’s opinion that these Serials should be discontinued.

Progression

CP1325 was raised on 23 February 2010. CP1325 was issued for Industry Impact Assessment as part of CPC00676. On 4 May 2010 the SVG approved this CP for implementation as part of the November 2010 Release. This CP was implemented on 1 November 2010.
Changes to the PARMS software and all impacted BSCPs for this CP were implemented on 1 November 2010 as part of the November 2010 Release. Because the dataflows which relate to the obsolete PARMS serials were required to be maintained for several months after the final Reporting Period, to allow for resubmissions and the submission of additional data, the related changes to the SVAA Data Catalogue and the Pool Application could not be delivered in the November 2010 release. These changes were implemented on 3 November 2011 as part of the November 2011 Release.
