Summary
This CP will remove the risk of Settlement errors occurring as a result of basing Proving Tests on verbally-communicated Meter Technical Details, which are then overwritten by (and may be different to) the MTD formally submitted for Settlement under BSCP20. The CP will clarify in BSCP02 that Proving Tests must only be considered successful if they are based on the formal post/fax/email MTD submitted under BSCP20.

CP1346 was raised on 1 April 2011 and issued for industry impact assessment as part of CPC00696. CP1346 will be presented to the ISG on 24 May 2011 for decision. CP1346 was approved by the ISG on 24 may 2011 for inclusion in the November 2011 Release. It was implemented on 3 November 2011.
