Summary
CP1334 will introduce a suite of new PARMS serials, going live on 1 July 2011. Therefore the ‘old’ serials being made redundant under this change will no longer be valid and, following the July reporting period, will no longer be used for the purposes of reporting performance.
Throughout the implementation stages, Elexon and the PAB realised it would be incompatible to continue to apply SP01 Supplier Charges to these redundant serials and historic reporting periods and therefore we should not apply these charges to these old serials following 1 July 2011. Removing the SP01 Supplier Charges for the old serials and reporting periods cannot be fully realised under the existing wording of BSCP533 and its Appendices and therefore this CP has been raised to remedy this.
Progression
CP1348 was raised on 6 May 2011 and issued for industry impact assessment as part of CPC00697. It was approved by the SVG on 13/05/2011 for implementation on 1 July 2011, as part of the June 2011 Release.
