Formal title: Pre-site audit visits - Technical Assurance of Metering

Current Status

CPC Consultation
Committee Decision

This CP proposes to make it a requirement for the Meter Operator Agent (MOA) to inform the Technical Assurance Agent (TAA) if it needs to visit a site during the notification period.  This means that the TAA will have a record of visits and any work that has been conducted that could potentially alter their findings.

CP1374 was raised and issued for industry impact assessment via CPC00712 on 27 April 2012, with responses due back on 24 May 2012.

CP1374 was presented to the PAB on 25 October 2012, where they endorsed the rejection of CP1374.

CP1374 was presented to ISG on 26 October 2012 (rescheduled from 23 October 2012). The ISG rejected CP1374 as its longer required  following the TAA’s annual report presented to PAB at their May 2012 meeting, stating that the instances of pre-audit site visits had fallen to zero and have remained at zero since then.

CP1374 was presented to SVG on 30 October 2012 where the SVG agreed with the ISG and rejected CP1374.
