Summary

BSCP515 and BSCP514 are ambiguous and not in line with certain circumstances where LDSOs lead a disconnection. This CP seeks to add clarity and ensure consistency in the De-energisation, Disconnection and Meter Removal processes.

Progression

Elexon raised CP1384 and issued for industry impact assessment via CPC00721 on 30 November 2012, with responses due back on 20 December 2012.

Elexon presented CP1384 on 5 February 2013 to the SVG, along with CP1385. We presented the two together as they both impact the same BSCPs (BSCP514 & BSCP515) and in some cases the same sections of these BSCPs, so it was therefore necessary for the SVG to consider the redlining overlaps, and agree the combined BSCP wording once it approved both CPs. The SVG approved the change for implementation.
