Summary
Phase 3 of Ofgem’s Code Governance Review (CRG3) made several proposals to improve governance arrangements across all the codes that under pin the gas and electricity industry arrangements. Although there are currently similar arrangements across all codes for raising Modifications they are not standardised. Ofgem has concluded that all Code Administrators should use a standard template for raising Modifications. The new template has been developed with input from across the Code Administrators and Ofgem has now instructed it should be adopted by all Code Administrators.
Progression
Elexon raised CP1468 on 06 July 2016. The CP Progression paper was presented to the Imbalance Settlement Group on 19 July 2016 and then to the Supplier Volume Allocation Group on 2 August 2016. The Change Proposal Consultation closed on 2 September 2016. The ISG approved CP1468 at its meeting on 20 September 2016. The SVG also approved CP1468 at its meeting on 4 October 2016. CP1468 was implemented on 3 November 2016 as part of the BSC November 2016 Release.
