Issue 99 consultation: Industry’s view on the value of the D0215 data flow

The Issue 99 Group has issued a RFI to understand the value of the D0215 data flow.

Who will this impact?

The Issue 99 Group is currently reviewing the D0215 data flow and its associated process, to understand if the D0215 data flow is valuable to Industry.

We are therefore writing to Suppliers, LDSOs and SVA MOAs on behalf of the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC) and Retail Energy Code (REC), to understand:

  • If they are in agreement with footnote 5 currently outlined in the Balancing and Settlement Code of Practice (BSCP)515 and footnote 57 currently outlined in REC’s Schedule 14 ‘Metering Operations’;
  • If Suppliers receive the D0215 flows in their systems and what operational process(es) the D0215 flow is being used in; and
  • If the optional fields are removed from the D0215 flow, how do Suppliers and SVA MOAs intend to use the retained mandatory fields?

With this understanding, the Issue 99 Workgroup can make an informed recommendation that will not have an adverse impact on market participants.
