RFI- Impacts of changes to MDD to support TCR Decision
Status
Who will this impact?
This Request for Information is to invite you to provide your views on the potential impacts of adding large numbers of new Line Loss Factor Classes (LLFCs) (~19,000) and valid set combinations (~300,000) to the Market Domain Data (MDD) in order to facilitate the implementation of Ofgem’s Targeted Charging Review (TCR) Decision.
We are also interested in the impacts to you from Metering Point Administration Service (MPAS)/ Supplier Meter Registration Agent (SMRA) Registration Record updates that will be made once the LLFCs are available for use in MDD. As we understand it, LDSOs plan to update approximately 2.5m Metering Systems’ registration records in MPAS before Distribution Use of System (DUoS) and Transmission Network Use of System (TNUoS) charges take effect in April 2022.
We are particularly interested in hearing from:
- Licenced Distribution System Operators (LDSOs);
- Suppliers;
- Data Aggregators;
- Half Hourly Data Collectors (HHDCs); and
- Non- Half Hourly Data Collectors (NHHDCs).
