BSC PROCEDURE 04 VERSION 5.0 relating to BM Unit Metered Volumes for Interconnector Users

1. Reference is made to the Balancing and Settlement Code and, in particular, to the definition of “BSC Procedure” in Section X, Annex X-1 thereof.

2. This is BSC Procedure 04 Version 5.0 relating to BM Unit Metered Volumes for Interconnector Users.

3. This BSC Procedure is to be effective from the BETTA Effective Date.

4. This BSC Procedure has been approved by the Panel.

Introduction

Purpose and Scope of the Procedure

This procedure defines the process by which the Settlement Administration Agent (SAA) receives BM Unit metered data for each Interconnector User (IU) from the Interconnector Administrator (IA).

This procedure does not cover the following Interconnector activities:-

(a) The provision of BM Unit Metered Volumes for Interconnector Error Administrators.

(b) The collection of Interconnector Metered Volumes by the Central Data Collection Agent (CDCA).

(c) The interfaces between IUs and IAs

(d) The calculation of Expected Transfers for each IU by the IA

Main Users of the Procedure and their Responsibilities

This BSCP is to be used by IAs and the SAA.

Throughout this procedure timetables are referred to in relation to the number of working days after a Settlement Day (SD) e.g. SD + 4 is 4 working days after SD.

Balancing and Settlement Code Provisions

This BSCP has been produced in accordance with the provisions of the Code. In the event of an inconsistency between the provisions of this BSCP and the Code, the provisions of the Code shall prevail.
