User Requirements Specification: Load Flow Model Specification for the Calculation of Nodal Transmission Loss Factors

The LFM Specification contains the requirements, obligations, assumptions and approximations required to be supported by the LFM. The exact mechanism for the derivation of Nodal Transmission Loss Factors (TLFs) by the TLFA is the required function of the LFM.

For the avoidance of doubt, the LFM produces Nodal TLFs and any further data manipulation is carried out by the Transmission Loss Factor Agent. For example, converting the Nodal TLFs into Zonal TLFs and then into BM Unit specific TLFs.
