IT notices: Planned downtime for BMRS on 5 January 2022

There will be a period of planned downtime on the Balancing Mechanism Reporting System (BMRS) from 14:30 to 15:30 on Wednesday 5 January 2022.

How will I be impacted?

This downtime is required for critical infrastructure maintenance.

During the outage window, BMRS will not publish any data received from National Grid ESO or REMIT data from the Elexon Portal and users of the BMRS APIs, TIBCO and Data Push Service will not receive the latest data set.

Please note that you can continue to submit REMIT data via the Elexon Portal during this planned downtime, where the data will be accepted, queued and sent in sequence. However, publication of these files will be delayed by this planned downtime.

Do I need to take any action?

No.

You do not need to take any specific action and we will perform system checks following completion of the work.
