IT Notices: Planned downtime required for Infrastructure Maintenance

There will be a period of planned downtime on the Balancing Mechanism Reporting System (BMRS) from 19:00 (GMT) to 21:00 (GMT) on Thursday 5 March 2020, for infrastructure maintenance for BMRS.

How will I be impacted?

During the downtime, any data received from National Grid or REMIT data from the Elexon portal will not be updated on the BMRS website. Additionally during the outage window, users of the BMRS APIs, TIBCO and Data Push Service will not receive the latest data set.

During this planned downtime there will be a delay in the data sent to ENTSO-E Transparency Platform from BMRS.

Please note that you can continue to submit REMIT data via the Elexon Portal during this planned downtime, where the data will be accepted, queued and sent in sequence, however publication of these files will be delayed by this planned downtime.

What do I need to do?

You do not need to take any specific action and we will perform system checks following completion of the work.
