IT Notices: Planned downtime required for June Release

We plan to deploy the changes between 17:30 (BST) on Tuesday 5 July 2022 and 02:00 (BST) on Wednesday 6 July 2022

What is happening?

We issued Elexon Circular EL03618 yesterday informing you of a delay to the June 2022 Release deployment. We now plan to deploy the changes between 17:30 (BST) on Tuesday 5 July 2022 and 02:00 (BST) on Wednesday 6 July 2022. There will be a period of downtime on the Kinnect Customer Solution application and Data & Calculation Platform (DCP) between these times. There will be no downtime on the Elexon Portal.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

How will I be impacted?

During the period of planned downtime, the Kinnect Customer Solution application and DCP will not be available to all users.

What do I need to do?

P375 being a “Settlement Day” change, the Virtual Lead Parties (VLPs) must send / receive version 2 of the P0282 files for Settlement Dates from 6 July onwards.

They must continue to send / receive version 1 of the P0282 files for any Settlement Dates prior to cutover (30 June 22 00:00 BST), even if sent or received after the cutover.

VLPs will also be required to process v002 of the P0283, P0285 and P0288 files from Wednesday 6 July.
